Me and Søren went to the Mournes this weekend to do some real rock climbing. We joined the Trinity Climbing Club some weeks ago and are throughly enjoying it. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before, but climbing combines equal measures of good training, socializing and beer. Great sport! Plus the people in the club are absolutely amazing and have welcomed us heartily.
The trip were very well organized, and the weather was “mild”. Mild might be an exaggeration as it was freezing cold, a bit windy and snowed (a bit, just a little bit). Luckily it did not rain at all, even though we had heard our share of horror stories about the Mournes. I brought back a pair of new, never used, waterproofs that I am equally happy to own and not have to use 
We are DEFINITELY going on the next trip (and climbing again tomorrow at the wall so see you all very soon).
