Climbing Multi-pitch in Glendalough

We went with a few of the boys from the climbing club to Glendalough to practice before the official club trip there. We had set our minds on climbing something really, really tall. However to get to Glendalough we had to drive. Søren and I rented a car, and you can see how that went:

Getting strapped in! You'd never know how it is going to go. The Irish are driving in the wrong side of the road after all.

Eoin is looking somewhat happy about the situation, of cause he is still oblivious to the fact that Søren has never driven in the wrong side of the road.

Signaling out, here we go!

Just keep driving, just keep driving...

Søren looking somewhat confident. We are not dead yet, and shifting with the left hand was not as difficult as he thought.

ARRRGH!! Søren totally missed a red light! We just sped right past it.

Søren looking somewhat smug :)

Meeting up with the boys, and getting ready to climb

Garrett is taking the first lead

That is tall!

55m - Wow!

Søren and I getting ready to second

Stephen on the top

We decided to abseil down, as we were running out of daylight

Carpark closes strictly at 6pm, so we had to make one hell of a march to get back to the cars
